What to expect

Every visit follows the same shape: listen, assess, treat, and plan what comes next.

A visit for you

  1. Get in touch

Phone or email to book a first visit at the clinic. Tell me briefly what’s troubling you.

  2. Consultation

We talk through the problem, your health and history, and what you’d like to get back to doing.

  3. Assessment

I watch how you stand and move, and examine the joints and muscles involved. If you need your GP first, I’ll say so.

  4. Treatment

I explain what I’d suggest and ask for your consent, then treat using gentle, specific techniques.

  5. Aftercare

Simple advice for the next few days, which may include movement or exercises to try at home.

  6. Follow-up

If more visits would help, I’ll suggest how many and how often. There’s never an obligation.

A visit for your animal

  1. Your vet’s consent

Before anything else, your vet examines your animal and agrees to chiropractic treatment.

  2. Book a mobile visit

I arrange a time to visit your yard or home, within my travel area.

  3. History

We talk through what you’ve noticed, their work and routine, and any recent changes.

  4. Assessment

I watch your animal standing and moving, walk and trot, then check the spine, pelvis and limbs by hand.

  5. Treatment

Light, specific chiropractic treatment, with Masterson Method bodywork for horses where it suits.

  6. Aftercare and rest

Usually a day or two of rest or light work. I’ll explain exactly what before I leave.

  7. Follow-up

I’ll suggest whether a follow-up would help, and keep your vet informed if you’d like.
